Product Description

Oval Nuts are fasteners with an oval shaped nut body that not only secure their place in the slotted or irregularly shaped openings of thin or lightweight materials but also allow them to be rotated within the slot for a tight fit. This rotation feature locks the nut’s position firmly against a mechanical hold that actively resists turning and slipping. Due to this characteristic, oval nuts can well serve the purpose in those cases where regular round fasteners tend to lack sufficient anchoring or proper positioning. Both metric and inch sizes are available, and the nuts are produced using a variety of materials and surface treatments to meet different requirements for strength, longevity, and exposure conditions.
